Gil Jaroslav Allen is the Founder and Principal Procurement Specialist of Gillen Agency, where he helps organizations secure the materials, equipment, and services required to successfully deliver construction, infrastructure, housing, industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
With extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, Gil specializes in identifying qualified suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and developing procurement strategies that improve efficiency, control costs, and mitigate risk. His expertise includes supplier development, vendor management, contract negotiation, procurement planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance improvement.
With professional and educational experiences spanning Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Gil brings a uniquely global perspective to procurement and supply chain management. Having grown up in Prague, Czech Republic, pursued higher education in the United States, and worked within international business environments in the UK and Europe, he has gained valuable insight into diverse supplier markets, procurement practices, and project delivery models. This international experience enables him to identify sourcing opportunities, build strong supplier relationships, and deliver procurement solutions that balance quality, cost efficiency, and operational reliability across a wide range of industries and project environments.
Throughout his career, Gil has supported procurement and sourcing initiatives across engineering, construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. He has collaborated with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders involved in complex capital projects, including engagements connected to industry-leading organizations such as Honeywell and Fluor Corporation. These experiences have strengthened his ability to manage demanding procurement requirements while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Known for his practical, results-driven approach, Gil helps clients establish dependable supplier networks, secure competitive pricing, and implement sourcing strategies that create measurable value and operational efficiency.

In 2018 Gillen made a strategic investment in Flow&Ebb, a company that specialises in commodity price risk management (CPRM). Flow&Ebb helps large corporates better manage the uncertainty they face in their core costs resulting from swings in the prices of any underlying commodities, such as oil, agricultural products, metals, plastics, energy, and so on.
When appropriate, Flow&Ebb can operate in a complimentary way alongside an existing Gillen engagement.
